EXPERIENCE EWOT

Exercise With Oxygen Therapy, or EWOT for short, is exercising with an oxygen mask to maximize your oxygen intake. An oxygen tank with 93% pure oxygen is inhaled through a mask while riding a bike in intervals of HITT training for 15 minutes. Every 3 minutes you will sprint for 30 seconds to get your heart rate up. This maximizes your oxygen intake which is the key to cellular health.

THE SCIENCE

EWOT allows the cells in your body to receive more oxygen. It also pushes the oxygen across the distal hypoxic tissues (tissues farthest from the heart) and gets into your micro vessels and capillaries. As we age our micro vessels close which we know is the root of many diseases and blockages in the body, cutting off our blood supply. Oxygen also creates a space where anaerobic things such as microbes, bacteria, viruses and cancer cells cannot live. The more oxygen we have in our system, the more energy we produce meaning the healthier we are. Oxygen is the source of life.

Why ride the bike? It is better to take in oxygen under load, meaning while exercising, than to receive the extra oxygen at a resting heart rate. This is because the ratio of Co2 and O2 is balanced when we are exercising and our heart rate is higher.
